The Department of Physics was established in the University of Management Sciences and Information Technology Kotli Azad Kashmir with BS, M.Sc., and M.Phil. Programs in 2015 and 2016, respectively. The department has also started the Ph.D. program in 2023. Our programs encourage and promote both academic and research activities in the university. The department provides a special environment for the intellectual growth and rational thinking of the students. The graduates of the Department of Physics can be absorbed in various establishments like education, departments related to research and development, Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), AQ Khan Research Laboratory (KRL), Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), Telecommunication, The Pakistan International Airline (PIA), Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Army and many others extending to abroad serving institutions.
