The Directorate of Students Financial Aid organized a remarkable ceremony where 367 laptops were distributed among students as part of the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme Phase 3. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Rehmat Ali Khan, was the chief guest of the ceremony. During his address, he emphasized the vital role of modern education in country's development and its significance in addressing the nation's challenges. He appreciated the Government & Higher Education Commission (HEC) for their remarkable efforts in providing students with digital tools they needed for the modern world. He also congratulated the Directorate for implementing a transparent & merit-based mechanism & for the successful execution of the ceremony.
Other key officials accompanying the Vice Chancellor were Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahroof Khan, The Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Sabahat Akram, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Faheem Ghazanfar, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Nabi, Dean Faculty of Computing & Engineering; Dr. Muhammad Irshad, Dean Faculty of Basic & Applied Sciences & Abdul Qayyum Mughal, Registrar. The event also saw the participation of Muhammad Saeed, Assistant Director Audit & Ms. Zaib Ul Nissa, Project Coordinator (Laptop Scheme) from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
