Introduction to Examinations Department

The history of Examinations department of University of Kolti Azad Jammu and Kashmir dates back to 1980’s when the university of AJ&K emerged on education horizons of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. It started functioning as section with limited resources but staff with brave heart was committed to perform their task, the task of education revolution in AJ&K. This section performed every task from conduct of examinations to result compilation with zeal and zest. But still something was missing and that was technology. Feeling ever increasing demand of precision and accuracy and to keep abreast with time the section shifted from manual mode to computerization in 1999. After that there was no looking back because section had capacitated itself to handle the examinations from conduct to results of continuously increasing students. The next milestone was 2014 when this campus upgraded to university after being segregated from The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The examinations section was then elevated to status of Department, the more responsibilities and staff started working with more zeal and enthusiasm like never before but with the same motto, “to play its part in education revolution”.Examination department, headed by Controller of Examinations is responsible for examination conduction, results announcements and awarding of degrees as per the HEC requirements. Examinations are based on semester pattern.
